I noticed on the way home from work yesterday that the local gas station rose their prices by $.02 a gallon.  I was thinking, "How curious." so immediately after the elections.

I was wondering if it was my imagination so I did a bit of research.  An article in the Lawrence Journal World asserts the same conclusion Gasoline prices rise after election.
