Obama replaces Alabama grassroots delegates

Obama alienated some of his strongest grassroots supporters in Alabama last night. Go down to Delegate Skirmish in the linked article to read the full account.
About forty grassroots Obama delegates, people who paid $50 to run and who were elected by citizens of their districts, were replaced by an Obama representative with wealthier and better known people.

How to reframe Social Security privatization.
Thu Dec 30, 2004 at 06:28:55 PM PDT
One of the concerns about privatizing Social Security is that it provides a means by which the account managers can legally rip off the less finically educated account owners. One way to bring this to table and change the focus from the "Social Security crisis" to the possible theft by account managers is to insist on a cap on management fees equal to the administrative overhead of Social Security. My guess is that Wall Street would object so loudly that it would be heard by enough people to reframe the issue.
